In this game, specifcley mario bros 3, is it possible to go to worlds you've already beaten? Because I want to go get the flute and other goodies in world 1, 2, and 3. However, I'm in world 7. Anyone?

You'd be starting over from there, though; if you go back you must continue from where you went back to, meaning you might have to play through several worlds again.

I can't remember how many times I've beaten this game. It's just so good  :D . You can't go back to previous worlds, but you can start over the game. It doesn't take more than 15-20 minutes to gather the three flutes  :D  :D

In the All-Stars compilation, you actually can revisit other worlds though, so long as you do it in the compilation menu before loading up the actual game.  You do it when selecting which save file to use, and then pressing left or right to go to any worlds you have completed already.  I can't remember if you have to select it by hitting a button first or not, so try without hitting the button to begin with.

Oh really? Didn't know about that, I think I'll try it in the emulator right away (I rather to play the original game with those old and good 8-bit graphics  :D  :D)

I could be mistaken, but at midnight I don't feel like playing through one whole world again to test it out.  If I'm wrong, I apologise for being mistaken.
