Finally, with the new site layout now up, we've (I've  ;D) been busy making and adding more and more site features such as a request system for the Alternate stream, a form to submit songs, refining the stream stats for the Windows Media Player enhanced content page, and much more.

But I would like to hear from others on what they would like to see done with the site and other stuff.  So feel free to stop by and drop a few comments or suggestions you may have!

You may also submit feedback to us at feedback@wzmrradio.com.

A nice feature would be a download page where you could download the songs you hear on the radio.

I already told ebuch about this, though.

I've actually been think about that too, but that would mean that each song would have to be hosted on our webserver, which will take up a huge amount of space, or directly link to each song from it's orginal source, which some sites don't allow.  I think ebuch may be doing something like that on the Multimedia page, but I'm not entirely sure.

In any case, that would probably be a something that will be added on in the future.

It would hurt our cause streaming the songs... Why should we stream the songs if people can just download them and listen to them themselves? xD

Though you can anyways, but there's no reason we should make it easier

Ah man, I feel like I've already repeated this 1,000 times. ::)  No matter though, this'll be mentioned in the About Us section once that opens up on the website:

Quote from: Alpha_Link
We do not play any original game music because we are a fan-site and stand by our philosophy of playing fan-made music only.

Besides, that music is copyrighted by Nintendo so we couldn't "legally" play that music, unless of course it's on a soundtrack, but that's a whole different story.

And yet, Hyrule Symphony and Majora's Mask Orchestrations are both on the request list... they're officially licensed though, so what makes them "fan" music?

Yeah, soundtracks that we have such as Hyrule Symphony and Sound & Drama are what we consider to be "fan music" because they aren't original songs, even if they are licensed.

Well, I was just playing around with it a little, just to make sure that it does work and everything.  OK then, I'll use your phrase Stephen!  ;D

I've been listening a little in the past hour and i did notice there was no fade in between songs and some songs seemed even abrupt in their playing.  Almost like hitting a brickwall and then going through it a second later.

Just thought i'd toss it out for the benefit of the project.  Otherwise i want to get my hands on some of these songs like mentioned above

Alpha_Link does know about this and has already fixed a few songs that do not crossfade properly. If there are any in particular that you would like to notify - let him know.

Thanks for clarifying that Mycro_chip.  Anyway, there are still some songs that seem to fade out too early or not fade out at all, and that's because the song itself just ends abruptly.  Usually I let the broadcasting software (SAM Broadcaster) adjust accordingly for each song, but sometimes it likes to take on a mind of its own.  Well, I don't remeber what songs are having this problem, but if you find any songs that do this, send me a PM.

There's a lot of (X)HTML and some scripting issues on the site (probably won't affect Windows users all too much) but my web browser refuses to load your site because of it.

I'd suggest cleaning up your templates.
