So...anybody play this game yet?

For those of you (and I'm guessing its probably very few) who played any games in the Guilty Gear series, this is from the same makers.

But I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it yet?

I've been meaning to play a game in th Guilty Gear series, it's kind of a shame that the ones on the Wii and DS currently suck...

This does look interesting, the English voices appear to suck though.  Hopefully there's a Japanese voice option XD

Edit: Somewhat glad for the PS3's lack of region locking.  It's looking a bit dim for Europe.

I think the voice acting is just fine.

Why does everyone hate english voice acting? What's wrong with you people?

I'm only going by that video.  Whatsherface doesn't even sound like she's trying based on first impressions.

Lol, fair enough.

Still, it looks like I may have to import this from PlayAsia or something as a European release looks dire.

The Guilty Gear game on Wii doesn't suck. It's the exact same Guilty Gear as on PS2... The DS game on the other hand...

Hrm... Turns out you're right about Guilty Gear XX Acent Core on the Wii... IGN doesn't seem to like it, but most reviewers are favourable to it...

I may look it up then, I know my HMV has had it before so I may not need to search very far to try it out.

Also, BlazBlue's OST kicks major arse!

Blazblue is probably the best fighting game I have ever played. Hands down. Balanced character rosters. (for once) Great soundtrack, fluid animation. Dare I say, good story in a fighting game?

Psh...big deal.

I already have the soundtrack anyway. Plus a strategy DVD...or something like that.

I wouldn't rule out all that extra stuff as downloadable content sometime in the future.

I place bets on it being around a month after European release, though it may be simultaneous.

Mm Blazblue :3

I think I'll pick this up sooner or later since I intend to get a 360 or PS3 for JRPGs anyway, so a fighting game is a nice bonus.

My experience with Guilty Gear (the PSP version) is that it pales in comparison to Dissidia, but so do lots of things, and Blazblue looks lovely at any rate.

Guilty Gear > Dissidia >:<

Right, bias aside.  From what I see, Dissidia isn't the conventional fighting game... In fact, it isn't really a full on fighting game due to it's RPG elements.  Also, comparing a 3D fighting game to a 2D one is a bit futile anyway, they play almost completely differently.

Also, you're comparing a cult game to a big name franchise, somewhat unfair in my eyes.

N.B. If you get BlazBlue, get a PS3!  I'll be waiting for yeh!

Copycat :P

I don't yet have a PS3, so I'm still a bit behind.
