Hi
First of all I would like to say that I love your works. That's why I downloaded the whole collection of your Majora's Mask music. It was a zip-file and I couldn't open it. I usually use Winrar but this time it wouldn't open. It says something like "unknown method"

Would be nice if someone told me how to open the archives :P

Hello, Oppa - Welcome to the forum. Good to hear another fan of ZREO. :)

Have you tried right-clicking the zip folder and then the following options:
  • "Open With        >"
  • "Choose Default Program..."
  • Click on Winrar (under 'Recommended Programs') and then click "OK".
  • If you don't see it then click on "Browse..." and search for the application manually.
  • If you want to always open that type of file with the same program then give the checkbox a tick. ("[/] Always use the selected program to open this kind of file")

Let me know how to get on before I go into other solutions.

This is assuming you're using a Windows-based operating system as I've seen winRAR ports for others.

Oh yea, that's right. If you're on a Mac then use Stuffit Expander which should come with the Operating System. If not then get the latest download of it here.

BOM on mac is usually good enough. There's also Unrarx.

I think some zips are currently just acting up because of the site change. If you still can't get it to open after trying another program, let us know and we'll look into it.

It seems like we actually have issues with our zip folders so we'll sort them out as soon as we can.

That's not really the problem I have. You see, I can open winrar but I can't unzip the files. An error window pops up or something.

I think it's the problem I have. So you think you can fix it?

Hey, I'm a new member on here, and I've been getting anxious because I've been wanting to download the songs.  How much longer do you think it will be until the zip files are working again?

I don't get it. I still can't unzip the files from the zip-file. Do I have to update Winrar or something?

It is highly unlikely that you will need to update. If you have the latest version then surely it should be fine. Which zip folder are you having trouble with?

I've download the the collection of Majora's Mask Orchestrations twice without results. Perhaps I could try another zip...

edit: nope, I downloaded The collection of Advenure of Link but I couldn't unzip those files either :(

"unknown method" it says

Double post:

Wow! I tried using winzip instead of winrar and it seems like it worked this time. Thank you for all help and Keep going composing awsome music :D
Problem: solved

Mycro_chip: (Remember everyone - try not to double post since you can just edit it in your latest post.)

I've noticed this, too. I just downloaded all of the ZREO albums this morning, and I wasn't able to unzip them with Archive Utility on Snow Leopard. I was able to open them with The Unarchiver, though.

Exactly the same as you would do normally. Which program do you use to attempt to open your files?

Which file(s) cause you issues? It could very well be our broken links that we are still patching up. Have you tried the UK mirror?
