I just watch the G4 TV channel.. and for some reason they always seem to have technical difficulties right before and sometimes during the Nintendo conference lol.  They'll momentarily lose video or audio sometimes.. but it's better than streaming it online I guess

I like watching the conferences live though.
I remember now, last year, I watched it on G4 I think...or a mix between that and IGN.

Yea...I remember logging in to Zen Chat with a bunch others and commenting as stuff got announced.
I remember being there, my feed was a little bit advanced for a minute or so... I remember when I flipped out with M:OM and everyone was freaking out.

Yea I remember you always freaked out seconds before the rest, so it was like an advanced warning that something cool was about to be shown, lol

For some reason I haven't seen E3 live for years now.  Come to think of it I'll probably just watch the interesting parts after they're online to save some time.

The last two were the only ones Ive ever seen live...or at all, as far as conferences go. My first live Nintendo conference, though, was a terrible disappointment >.<

It was the Wii Music one, ugh.

I can't get myself to see it on the web... it needs to be LIVE on TV. I just prefer it the way (slow computers don't play good video).

For the skeptics...
Aonuma apparently said he originally wanted to have the game be released in Spring of this year. He's pushing to try to get a playable version of the game at E3 and release it later in the year. The analogy to ST doesn't really matter, its not a pattern that you can base this off of. I think it has more positive implications that negative ones. They announced a DS game out of the blue and released it the same year. This one they've been working on for way longer, we all know about it for quite some time, and combining all the information we have about the development, a 2010 release date isn't far-fetched at all.

Buuuut on a business perspective, yea, 2011 might make more sense if Mario and Metroid are also coming out this year. And whatever other FP games, like S&P2, or Endless Ocean

Wrong thread lol, but yeah, given the game was officially announced last E3, it's entirely possible that it will be finished this year, or quite possibly even released.  I wasn't basing my argument that this would be very similar to ST's release, since Nintendo is very likely to do it differently, but I am still of the belief that Nintendo would push that difference more to the side of giving themselves more time to promote the game despite the amount of attention it is already currently receiving.

Well I posted here because its about Zelda being at E3

Im more leaning towards Nintendo delaying it so as not to clog up the calendar year with too many big name franchises. Mario alone, for example, obliterated so many other games since November...

So Zelda WILL be at E3 this year. What does everyone expect?

Trailer?
Demo?
Another picture?
All the above?
Something else? ???

Depending on what they show at GDC, we can do nothing but wait. Anyone hear anything about Nintendo and GDC yet?

Trailer/short vid at the least. Demo under best conditions. They're pushing for a PLAYABLE version of the game. If its not playable, they still have to show something since they said it WILL be at E3. If they're trying to get a playable version of it, its DEFINITELY far along enough in development to be able to show some footage, whether in-game or not. Just a picture wouldn't do.

At the absolute worst, a series of screenshots, images. Not artwork though. But even at its worst, everyone would go crazy over it xD

I went crazy last time! I remember that it was behind closed doors.

Does anybody think that the music will be like TP or somewhat different? I know the next game follows TP.

I'd bet that the music for Zelda Wii will be almost fully orchestrated, like Super Mario Galaxy. TP's music had a very orchestral flavor to it, so I'd imagine Zelda Wii will follow suit accordingly.

They never said it followed TP. It might be the game after TP, but it might also not.

I also think it'll be orchestrated...at least partially.

Not to go off in my usual rant about orchestrated music in Zelda, but I'm damn near 100% positive they won't be able to have the entire soundtrack performed by an orchestra.

Well, yeah but it's not very easy to use something not so real to create something that sounds like something that is already real..

@San  Perhaps I'll create/revive a thread where we can all discuss it.. Maybe I'll feel like writing an article
