We're being invaded! Two new games have been announced that will help kick off the Christmas party games thing that we've got going on at the moment. Cheggers' Party Quiz and Alan Hansen's Sports Challenge have been announced for the Nintendo Wii for elease this Christmas time.

Cheggers' Party Quiz will be hosted by the ever happy Keith Chegwin and will contain thousands of entertainment related questions for us all to answer over the Christmas period. I know for sure that I could do without his face during the Christmas period. Although apparently, I'm alone on this. Enthusing about the project, Oxygen CEO Jim Scott said:

“Who doesn’t love Cheggers? Or know who he is for that matter? Incredibly marketable, Cheggers is the perfect choice for the Christmas Season’s interactive party game purchasers. Cheggers is a household name, and every household knows he’s guaranteed entertainment!”

Now with Alan Hansen's Sports Challenge, we've been given an entirely different situation. This is a serious quiz in which the sports fanatics will obviously use their drunken minds to try and beat each other with random football related questions. Jim Scott continued to say:

“Hansen is a legend, and with his natural dry wit, he will bring a great twist to the world of serious sports quizzes. Not only is he respected by men but the ladies love him too! We’re expecting there to be more than sports fans heading to the shops for our Sports Challenge this Christmas!”
